From North Carolina to Costa Mesa, CA: Our Weekend at Fragrance Fest & the Golden Pineapple Awards

As a small family-owned fragrance house in North Carolina, most days are spent blending fragrances, filling bottles, packing orders, and working behind the scenes to bring our creative ideas to life.

Every so often, however, we get the chance to step out of the studio and connect with the fragrance community in person.

This year, that opportunity took us across the country to Costa Mesa, California, for Fragrance Fest and the 6th Annual Golden Pineapple Awards.

The weekend was filled with incredible conversations, new friendships, unforgettable fragrances, and a moment of recognition that we'll never forget.

A Gathering of Fragrance Lovers

One of the best parts of Fragrance Fest was meeting the people who make the fragrance community so special.

Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to connect with fellow fragrance enthusiasts, content creators, reviewers, collectors, and independent brands from around the country. Some were familiar faces we'd known online for years, while others were meeting us—and our fragrances—for the very first time.

As an independent artisan fragrance house, those conversations mean everything. Fragrance is deeply personal, and hearing how people experience our creations is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Celebrating Mango Blush

Earlier this year, we were honored to learn that Mango Blush had been nominated for both Best Scent of the Day and Best Summer Scent at the 6th Annual Golden Pineapple Awards.

While the awards ceremony took place during Fragrance Fest, the nominations themselves were already a meaningful moment for our family and our brand.

Seeing a fragrance we created recognized alongside so many outstanding releases was both humbling and encouraging.

Although Mango Blush did not take home an award this year, we are incredibly grateful for the support and enthusiasm it has received from the fragrance community.

Sharing the Jensen Fragrances Story

Events like Fragrance Fest give us something we don't often experience through our website or social media: face-to-face conversations.

We had the chance to talk about our inspirations, explain our creative process, share samples, and hear firsthand how our fragrances have become part of our customers' lives.

Those conversations are meaningful to us because every fragrance we create is designed to tell a story. Hearing how those stories resonate with others reminds us why we started Jensen Fragrances in the first place.

The Golden Pineapple Awards

A highlight of the weekend was attending the 6th Annual Golden Pineapple Awards.

The awards celebrate creativity and excellence within the fragrance community, recognizing brands, creators, reviewers, and industry contributors who continue to elevate the world of fragrance.

It was an honor simply to be part of the event and to spend the evening celebrating alongside so many talented and passionate people.

                    

Bringing Inspiration Back Home

We returned to North Carolina energized and inspired.

The creativity on display throughout Fragrance Fest, the friendships we strengthened, and the support shown for Mango Blush reminded us why we started Jensen Fragrances in the first place.

We believe fragrance should be more than something you wear.

It should tell a story.

It should create a memory.

It should make you feel something.

Events like Fragrance Fest reinforce that belief and inspire us to keep creating fragrances that connect people to moments, places, and emotions.
